All purchases on fitness training services are final; no refunds or transfers.  


Cancellation Policy on Private Pilates Sessions - We have a 24 hour cancellation policy on private sessions.  If you do not provide a 24 hour cancellation notice,  you will be charged in full for your appointment.  


Small Group Class Cancellations: If you cannot make it to one of  your group classes, as a courtesy you can call the instructor and let them know you will not be in class, however this is not a requirement. 


Payments

Your payment in advance guarantees your private session times and reserves your spot in group classes.

Payments accepted: cash, check or credit card.    

You will be charged a 3% credit card processing feefor all payments by credit cards.

 

Studio Policies

  • Refrain from wearing cologne or perfumes to the studio. 
  • If wearing shorts, we request bike shorts or tights be worn underneath. Yoga or dance wear is appropriate clothing. 
  • Avoid restrictive clothing with belts or zippers.
  • Bring a towel to your private sessions.
  • Bring your own mat to your group classes. 
  • Please be courteous and turn off your cell phone ringer during your group classes.
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items left behind at our studio.


Medical-Emergency Freeze Activation Form

During your fitness program, if at any time you become ill, injured, require surgery, or have to take time off for an emergency matter, you must communicate with Jean, tell her about your situation, and request a Medical-Emergency Freeze Form so you can fill it out and and return it to the studio. Once your form is returned to our studio, you will have up to 1 year to "freeze" your private sessions or group classes.  If you do not fill out a Medical Freeze Activation Form in a timely manner, your sessions or group classes will expire.


Frequently Asked Questions


What is Pilates?  It is a workout that strengthens your core and tones your entire body without adding bulk, to create long, lean muscles. Pilates will also improve your posture, flexibility and balance. 

What should I wear?  Fitted clothes are best so we can evaluate your form. We recommend yoga pants or fitted long shorts.  All workouts are performed in bare feet, or you may wear Pilates socks.

How many times per week should I do Pilates? 
Because the muscles of the body are used in harmony with one another and not over strained, Pilates can be done daily. Some persons obtain results taking Pilates once per week. 


How long will it take me to get results?  In as little as 4 to 6 weeks, with 2 to 3 sessions per week, you will improve your overall tone, feel better, improve your posture, increase flexibility and reduce back pain.  You will start to notice a difference in the way you carry yourself immediately.  You can build a totally new physique and improve your posture within 20 to 30 sessions.  


Will Pilates help me lose weight? Pilates increases strength which changes your muscle to fat ratio, therefore increasing your metabolism. This, with healthy nutrition, will help you to lose body fat. 

Is Pilates safe for those who are injured, who have never exercised regularly or who are pregnant? Pilates is fine for people who have had knee, back and ankle injuries and for those who find traditional exercise programs too difficult. In fact, many people experience dramatic improvements in their overall health. If unsure, please consult with your doctor. Continuing a Pilates program can be safe throughout pregnancy, however we do not recommend starting any exercise program after you become pregnant. 

What if I have to cancel a session or group class? To cancel a private session or group class without being charged, please call 727-698-8800 at least 24 hours before your schedule appointment or class and leave a message.   If you don't cancel your session within 24 hours you will be charged in full.
