Jean began her fitness career as a certified group exercise instructor in 1991 and a certified personal trainer in 1996.  She started her fitness business in 1994 and opened her first personal training studio in 1996.   After a year of training dozens of men and women, she realized that many of them were not reaching their physical fitness goals because of a poor diet.  Because of her desire to help her clients maximize their results and achieve a healthy lifestyle,  Jean began working with Shaklee, a nutrition company well known for their scientific research and clinical nutrition studies.  Jean educates her clients on nutrition facts and believes the missing component of most persons fitness program is quality nutrition and food supplementation.    

After working as a personal trainer for several years, Jean tried her first Pilates class and discovered how much her body needed Pilates. Years of weight training, boot camp, and teaching kickboxing took a toll on Jean's back and she found instant back pain relief with Pilates.  After taking a few Pilates classes, she embarked in her Pilates teacher training, and has been teaching Pilates since 2003.  Jean holds numerous fitness certifications in personal training and Pilates, and has completed many college level nutrition courses.

Today, Jean's focus is on offering fitness training programs that focus on injury prevention, weight loss, anti-aging and back pain relief.   Jean's passion is helping her clients reach their physical fitness potential and improve their body awareness and coordination through the Pilates method of exercise, corrective exercise, and personal training.  

In addition, Jean teaches private and group Essentrics classes at her studio. She is a certified Essentrics Instructor and has completed her professional teacher training with Miranda Esmonde-White, the creator of Classical Stretch.  

Jean has also competed in several Fitness America Pageants, and competed in the US National Fitness America Competition in Redondo Beach, CA.  She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience of fitness, nutrition and food supplementation with other women who want to create a strong, healthy physique and look and feel confident in a bathing suit.
