Class Descriptions:
Fit Camp- this workout is a fat burning, total body workout that combines conditioning exercises with resistance training exercises and also includes balance training, core conditioning and stretching. Resistance training helps women build strong bones, aids in weight loss, and firms and tones up muscles. This class helps women tone and slim down those trouble areas (back of arms, buttocks, saddlebags, inner thighs, waist and belly). Exercises are personalized for each participant's fitness level, goals and needs and modifications are given as needed. We use a variety of equipment including resistance bands, tubing, medicine balls, dumbells, and mats. Some classes often begin with a 1 mile run/walk. All classes end with a cool down and stretch. Leave class feeling stronger, leaner and more energized!
Mat
Pilates- this workout is a total body toning and stretching workout done on the mat. We use a variety of Pilates equipment including fitness circles, stability balls, fitness bands, and toning balls. Mat Pilates exercises focus on strengthening and stretching the body from the inside out. Create a longer, leaner physique and improve your posture. Leave class feeling "worked out" and not worn out!
Essentrics - this workout is a low-impact, stretch and strengthening routine that not only compliments and brings similar results as Pilates and Yoga, but also has added health and rehabilitation benefits. You'll feel muscles that are not normally worked. Exercises are instructed in a flowing, dynamic, non-stop routine and are similar to Yoga, tai chi, ballet, aerobics and physical therapy and Benefits of this workout include improved flexibility, back pain, knee pain and shoulder pain relief, healing of injuries, improved posture, flattened abs, thinner thighs, toned and tight buns, reduced stress levels, reversal of osteoporosis, and reduced inches overall.
Fitness Yoga - this workout is a total body stretching and toning workout done on the mat. This workout includes non-meditative yoga poses and therapeutic stretching exercises. Benefits of the workout improve improved balance, increased flexibility, increased strength, stronger bonees and stress relief. All fitness levels are welcome and exercises are modified for all participants.
